Refund Policy
1. Custom Production and Refunds
At Sharknits Manufacturing, we procure raw materials, create cutting patterns, assemble garments using the cut & sew method, and apply labels and branding such as print or embroidery. Each item is made to order, not from pre-made blanks. Therefore, we do not offer refunds.
2. Project Cancellation
If you cancel the project before wholesale production, you will be charged for any samples or design made, ranging from $150 to $500 per sample. You keep the sample and digital concept. A standard cancellation fee of 30% of the order value or $250 (whichever is greater) plus the sample cost applies.
3. No Returns on Approved Samples
We do not accept returns on products for which you approved physical samples/prototypes. You have the opportunity to make alterations during the prototyping stage before bulk production begins.
4. Satisfaction with Product Outcome
We are not responsible for personal preferences regarding the product outcome. These should be addressed during the design and sample stages.
5. Non-Refundable Design Work
Graphic design work provided by our team is non-refundable due to the time invested by our designers.
6. Development and Timelines
We provide one physical sample before production. Cut and sew orders can take up to 3 months if multiple sample rounds are needed. Please plan your projects at least 4 months ahead to accommodate this timeline.
7. Sample Orders
There are no refunds for sample orders. Minor changes can be made during development. Major errors will be rectified by providing a new sample at no charge (excluding shipping).
8. Artwork and Spelling Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of spelling and artwork submitted. We will use what you provide.
9. Defective Products Notification
Check the quality of goods within 1-3 days of receiving them. Report any defects within 7 days. We will assist with issues reported within this timeframe.
10. Quality Control and Final Decision
We reserve the right to make the final decision in case of any dispute regarding the product’s quality or any other matter.
11. Confidentiality and Sharing of Images
We may share images and videos of your product unless you request otherwise or if a confidentiality agreement is in place.
12. Customized Packaging
Our default packaging is used unless you place a separate order for customized packaging.
13. Size Distribution Variations
Size distribution may vary in small quantities due to quality checks, but the total quantity will remain the same.
14. New to Cut & Sew Development
New clients should ask questions to understand our process. Each sample round can take up to 2 months. We may cancel projects if there is a lack of understanding or patience, with a 30% cancellation fee + sample cost ($150-$500).
