FR shirt and pants orders, in short
Sharknits makes FR (flame-resistant) work shirts and pants to order in aramid fabric, with the buyer's logo embroidered. Knit hoodies, henleys, polos and tees can match, with the knit fabric confirmed with each quote. The minimum is 50 pieces per style and color, with sizes mixed. Each order comes with the yarn maker's certificate and a copy of our CE certificate for flame-resistant fabrics (CE is the European product mark). Before we ship, we test a swatch of your fabric with a flame and send you the video. First we make one physical sample, and we confirm its price with your quote. After you approve it, bulk takes about 6 to 8 weeks, plus shipping. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

What comes with your order
What we send with each order, and plain words on certification.
- The yarn certificate: we buy the aramid yarn ourselves. Each order comes with the yarn maker's certificate for that yarn.
- The CE certificate: our fabric facility holds a CE certificate for making finished flame-resistant fabrics. We send you a copy with your quote.
- A test video: before we ship, we test a swatch of your fabric with a flame. We send you the video.
- What they show: the certificates cover the yarn and the fabric. They are not a garment certification.
- Certified garments: garment certification is done by an independent certification body. Tell us the standard your program uses.
- Your quote: we confirm whether it can be done for your order, what it costs and how long it adds.
- The label: a garment carries a certification label only after that body lists it.
- Your safety team: employers choose FR clothing from their own hazard assessment, and pick the standard for each garment.

Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum for FR shirts and pants?
50 pieces per style and color. You can mix sizes within that number.
Can we mix shirts and pants in one order?
Yes. Each style and color counts on its own. So 50 shirts and 50 pants make one order of 100 pieces.
Do you make FR hoodies?
Yes. Pullover hoodies, brushed inside, with no drawcord, from 50 pieces per style and color. We confirm the knit fabric with your quote.
How is the logo put on?
It is embroidered, and kept small. Tell us your program's rules for logos, and we confirm the thread with your quote.
What colors can we choose?
Aramid is hard to dye, so there are fewer colors than for cotton. We confirm the colors with your quote, from the fabric maker's range.
Can you make certified shirts?
Garment certification, for example to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 2112, is done by an independent certification body. Tell us the standard your program uses. We confirm with your quote whether it can be done, what it costs and how long it adds.
How long does an order take?
We make one physical sample first and confirm its price with your quote. After you approve it, bulk takes about 6 to 8 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks.

Yes. Our work shirts page covers work shirts, mechanic shirts and work pants in regular fabrics, from 25 pieces.
