Knit sweater orders, in short
Sharknits makes custom knit sweaters for clothing brands and clubs: crewnecks, V-necks and sweater vests with your logo, pattern or stripes knitted in. We knit intarsia, cable knit and jacquard rib in your colors. The minimum is usually 25 pieces per style and color, and sizes can be mixed. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. Plan about 4 months ahead if you need several sample rounds. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum order for custom knit sweaters?
Usually 25 pieces per style and color. You can mix sizes within that number. Tell us what you are making and we will confirm.
What is the difference between intarsia and jacquard?
Intarsia knits each color area from its own yarn, so the back stays clean. It suits bold shapes and big logos. Jacquard knits two or more colors across each row, and the color not in use runs along the back. It suits small repeat patterns and words.
Can you knit my logo into a sweater?
Yes. A logo can be knitted in, or embroidered on after knitting. Bold shapes knit best. Very small text can lose detail, so we may suggest a bigger size.
Do you make cable knit sweaters?
Yes. We make cable knit sweaters and vests, with sleeves or without, and your stripes knitted into the rib. Our CREASE design is a cable knit cricket vest.
What does gauge mean in knitting?
Gauge is how many needles per inch a knitting machine has. A low gauge makes a chunky knit, and a high gauge a fine, smooth knit. We confirm the gauge on your quote.
Can you knit sweaters for a team or a club?
Yes. We make cricket sweaters and vests in club colors, with the club's stripes knitted into the rib.
Do you make matching beanies?
Yes. We knit beanies in rib, waffle or jacquard, with your word knitted in or your logo embroidered on the cuff.
How much does a sample cost?
One physical sample costs $150 to $500, depending on the design, plus shipping. You check the knit, the colors and the fit before we make your full order.
