Sharknits makes custom windbreakers and shell jackets for clothing brands and teams: full zip, quarter zip or pullover, in nylon, taffeta or ripstop, with colorblock panels, reflective piping or taped seams. The minimum is usually 25 pieces per style and color, and sizes can be mixed. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. Plan about 4 months ahead if you need several sample rounds. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. Bulk starts only after you approve the sample.

What is the minimum order for custom windbreakers?
Usually 25 pieces per style and color. You can mix sizes within that number. Tell us what you are making and we will confirm.
What is the difference between a windbreaker and a track jacket?
A windbreaker is a light shell, usually nylon or ripstop, made to stop the wind. A track jacket is a knit jacket, often with stripes or side tape. We make both.
Full zip, quarter zip or pullover?
A full zip opens all the way down. A quarter zip and a pullover go on over the head. Our VOLT shell is a quarter zip pullover with a front pouch.
Can you make colorblock windbreakers?
Yes. We cut each panel from the color you choose and sew them together, like the orange, blue and black panels on our VOLT shell.
Can you add reflective details?
Yes. We add reflective piping, like on our GRID shell, or a reflective print. Reflective parts look plain in daylight and shine back at night.
Do you make windbreakers for teams?
Yes. We make windbreakers, track jackets and training jackets in team colors, with your crest. The minimum is usually 25 pieces per style and color, and sizes can be mixed.
How much does a sample cost?
One physical sample costs $150 to $500, depending on the design, plus shipping. You check the fabric, the fit and the details before we make your full order.
