Practice wear orders, in short
Sharknits makes dance practice wear for studios, teams and brands: crop tops, shorts, leggings and bras in nylon or polyester with spandex, with flatlock seams and the studio's own logo and labels. Hoodies and tees for the studio shop can match. Each piece and each color counts as its own design toward the minimum. The minimum is 25 pieces per design in adult sizes and 50 in kids sizes, with sizes mixed. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 4 to 6 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Adult sizes are quoted FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to the buyer's door. Kids sizes are quoted FOB Karachi only, so the buyer imports them. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

- Each piece: the crop top, the shorts and the leggings each count as their own design.
- Each color: a crop top in three colors counts as three designs.
- Your name: your studio's logo on every piece, and your own neck labels.
Hoodies, tees and shorts for the studio shop
Merchandise with your studio's name, for dancers and parents.
- Hoodies: pullover or zip, in fleece, with a print, embroidery or stones.
- Tees: cotton tees with your logo, printed or embroidered.
- Shorts and sets: the practice pieces in your studio's colors.
- Labels: your own neck labels and hang tags. Custom packaging is a separate order.
Kids sizes and the US rules
As of October 2026. This is general information, not legal advice. Confirm the details with your testing lab.
- Minimum: 50 pieces per design in kids sizes, with sizes mixed, quoted FOB Karachi. You import them.
- Children's products: in the US, dancewear sized for kids 12 and under is a children's product.
- Lab tests: a lab that the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) accepts tests your samples for lead in the stones, sequins, prints and metal trims. Plain dyed fabric needs no lead test. Some fabrics need a flammability test.
- The certificate: the US importer issues the Children's Product Certificate. Since July 8, 2026, the importer also files its data with US Customs when the goods arrive.
- Tracking labels: each piece carries a permanent label that says who made it, where, when and in which batch.
- What we do: we send samples to the lab you pick and sew your tracking labels. We make kids jackets and hoodies with no hood or neck drawstrings.
Sample first, then your order
We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 4 to 6 weeks, plus shipping.
Changes go into another sample round before bulk starts.

What is the minimum for practice wear?
25 pieces per design in adult sizes and 50 in kids sizes. You can mix sizes within that number.
Can we mix designs in one order?
Yes. Each design and each color counts on its own toward the minimum, and the crop top, the shorts and the leggings are each their own design.
Can you make it under our studio's name?
Yes. Your logo on every piece, your neck labels and your hang tags. The pieces carry your studio's name, not ours.
What fabric do you use?
Nylon and spandex or polyester and spandex. Tell us how it should feel, or send a piece you like, and we confirm the fabric with your quote.
Do you make dance bags?

How long does it take?
After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 4 to 6 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Plan more time if you need several sample rounds.
