Hockey sock orders, in short
Sharknits makes custom hockey socks to match your jerseys: knit socks with your stripes knitted in, or sublimated socks that carry any design. Teams order a light pair and a dark pair, and practice socks. The minimum is 50 pairs per design. We confirm our lengths with your quote. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. We make the uniforms in our own factories in Pakistan, with a US office near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door, and youth sizes ship FOB Karachi. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship. Schools can pay with a purchase order. We invoice from our US office and send a W-9, the US tax form a supplier gives a buyer.
Team uniforms are our specialty. Schools can pay with a purchase order, and clubs and leagues can order for many teams at once.

Knit socks or sublimated socks
Both come in your team colors. They differ in how the design gets on.
- Knit: the stripes are knitted in, in a few solid colors. We confirm how many colors with your quote.
- Sublimated: the design is dyed into the fabric, so it can carry any pattern.
- Your logo: knitted in on knit socks, or dyed in on sublimated socks.
Sock lengths, from youth to senior
Hockey socks are sized by length, so they cover the shin guard.
- Youth to senior: other makers publish lengths by age group. Their charts are a guide.
- Our lengths: we confirm them with your quote.
- Mixed lengths: we confirm with your quote how lengths count toward the 50 pairs.
Matched to your jerseys
The same stripes and colors as your jerseys.
- Stripes: the sleeve stripes of your jerseys, on the socks.
- Colors: matched to your jerseys. You check them on your sample before bulk.
- High school teams: high school rules ask for matching socks across the team.
Light and dark pairs, and how they stay up
Most teams order a pair for each jersey.
- Light and dark: a light pair and a dark pair, to match each set.
- Practice socks: plain socks for practice, in your colors.
- Staying up: players hold their socks up with garters, tabs or tape.
- Tabs: we confirm hook and loop tabs on sublimated socks with your quote.
Sample first, then your order
We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping.
Changes go into another sample round before bulk starts.

We do not make helmets, cages or visors, neck guards, gloves, shoulder or elbow pads, hockey pants or girdles, shin guards, skates, sticks or goalie pads. We make the shells that go over hockey pants and girdles. We do not make cut-resistant socks or sleeves.

Knit or sublimated: which should we choose?
Knit socks carry your stripes knitted in, in a few solid colors. Sublimated socks carry any pattern, dyed into the fabric. Both come in your team colors.
Which lengths do you make?
Hockey socks are sized by length, from youth to senior, so they cover the shin guard. We confirm our lengths with your quote. Our sizing guide shows the lengths other makers publish.
Can the socks match our jerseys?
Yes. We match the stripes and colors of your jerseys, and you check them on your sample before bulk.
Can socks carry numbers?
We confirm with your quote whether sublimated socks can carry each player's number in one design.

How long does an order take?
First we make one sample for you to check. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Plan about 12 weeks before you need the uniforms.
