Youth hockey orders, in short
Sharknits makes youth hockey jerseys, socks and pant shells for associations, travel clubs and house leagues, in one design for every team. Youth sizes start at 50 pieces per design, with sizes mixed, and adult sizes at 25. Youth orders ship FOB (free on board) Karachi, and the importer issues the Children's Product Certificate. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. We make the uniforms in our own factories in Pakistan, with a US office near Chicago. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship. Schools can pay with a purchase order. We invoice from our US office and send a W-9, the US tax form a supplier gives a buyer.

One design for the whole program
Associations often dress every team in one design, from the youngest players to the oldest.
- Youth sizes: from 50 pieces per design, with sizes mixed.
- The oldest teams: they can wear adult sizes in the same design. We confirm with your quote how the youth and adult minimums apply.
- Every team: send one roster per team, and we quote the teams together.
What a travel player wears
A full travel kit has game jerseys, socks, a practice jersey, a pant shell and team wear.
- Game jerseys: a light jersey and a dark jersey.
- Socks: a pair to match each jersey.
- Practice: a reversible practice jersey.
- Pant shell: in the team color, over the hockey pants.
- Team wear: a jacket or a hoodie for game days.
Association sets or family sets
Associations buy jerseys in two ways.
- Association-owned sets: the association owns the game jerseys and lends them to teams each season. Order spares in common sizes.
- Family-bought sets: each family buys a light and a dark set. Send one list with each player's size, name and number.
- Both: one design, one sample and one quote for the whole program.
When to order for September
Fittings are often in spring, so pick the design in March or April.
- Fittings: at one Illinois club, fittings were in May.
- Needed by September 1, 2027: start by June 9, 2027.
- Big orders by sea: start about 4 months ahead.
- Youth orders: they ship FOB Karachi, so add the time your importer needs.
Youth sizes are children's products
In the US, jerseys, socks and shells made for players 12 and under are children's products.
They need tests at a lab that the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) accepts, a Children's Product Certificate from the importer and permanent tracking labels. Since July 8, 2026, importers also file the certificate data with US Customs when the goods arrive.
Youth orders ship FOB Karachi. You, or the importer you work with, bring them into the US and issue the Children's Product Certificate. Our factory sends samples made from bulk materials to your lab and sews your tracking, fiber and care labels. It also gives you the factory name, address and production month for the certificate.
Names and numbers on youth jerseys
Send one list with each player's size, name and number.
- Youth jerseys: we confirm the cost of names and numbers with your quote.
- Adult sizes: each adult jersey can carry its own name and number at no extra charge.
- Collars: a lab may ask whether the laces of a lace-up collar count as neck drawstrings. We confirm lace-up collars on youth sizes with your quote.

What we do not make for hockey
We do not make helmets, cages or visors, neck guards, gloves, shoulder or elbow pads, hockey pants or girdles, shin guards, skates, sticks or goalie pads. We make the shells that go over hockey pants and girdles. We do not make cut-resistant socks or sleeves.
