Ice hockey uniform orders, in short

Sharknits makes custom ice hockey uniforms for associations, schools, leagues and hockey shops: game jerseys, hockey socks, pant shells and practice jerseys. Team uniforms are our specialty. The minimum is 25 pieces per design in adult sizes and 50 in youth sizes, with sizes mixed and goalie jerseys counted in. Socks start at 50 pairs per design. Each adult jersey can carry its own name and number at no extra charge. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. We make the uniforms in our own factories in Pakistan, with a US office near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door, and youth sizes ship FOB Karachi. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship. Schools can pay with a purchase order. We invoice from our US office and send a W-9, the US tax form a supplier gives a buyer.

Team uniforms are our specialty. Schools can pay with a purchase order, and clubs and leagues can order for many teams at once.

One player's uniform

What one player wears

A full uniform is a light and a dark jersey, a pair of socks for each, and a pant shell.

  • Jerseys: a light jersey and a dark jersey, each with the player's number.
  • Socks: a pair to match each jersey.
  • Pant shell: one shell over the hockey pants, in your team color.
  • Practice: a practice jersey, plain or reversible, for drills.

Uniform rules

Your league's rules

Uniform rules differ by level, so check your league's rules before you order. These lines are as of October 2026.

  • Numbers: high school and college rules ask for back numbers at least 10 inches tall and sleeve numbers at least 4 inches.
  • Letters: the captain wears a C and the alternates an A, on the front of the jersey.
  • Light and dark: high school and college rules put the home team in light jerseys and the visitors in dark. Order a light set and a dark set.
  • Matching: players on a team wear matching jerseys. High school rules ask for matching socks and pants too.
  • Maker's logo: high school and college rules allow one small maker's logo on each piece. Our bolt goes on once, and every label goes inside.

For associations and clubs

One design for every team

Associations and travel clubs often dress every team in one design.

  • One design: the same jersey for every team, from the youngest players to the oldest.
  • Youth sizes: from 50 pieces per design, with sizes mixed. They ship FOB Karachi.
  • The travel kit: light and dark jerseys, matching socks, a practice jersey and a pant shell.
  • When to pick the design: in March or April, for teams that need their uniforms in September.
For adult leagues and rinks

Light and dark sets for adult teams

Adult teams and rink leagues order a light set and a dark set.

  • Light and dark: a light jersey and a dark jersey for each player.
  • League colors: rinks and leagues can give every team the same design in its own color. We confirm with your quote how the colors count toward the minimum.
  • Names and numbers: each adult jersey can carry its own name and number at no extra charge.
