Groin and shin guard orders, in short
Sharknits makes custom groin guards and shin guards for boxing, MMA and Muay Thai gyms, fight teams and brands, in your colors, with your logo. The groin guard is a padded cup on a wide elastic waistband, from 12 pieces per design. The shin guards are strapped shin-and-instep guards, sold in pairs, from 12 pairs per design. We confirm other styles and the sizes with your quote. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 5 weeks, plus shipping. We make the gear in our own factories in Pakistan, with a US office near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

Groin guards on a wide waistband
Our groin guard is a padded cup on a wide elastic waistband.
- The cup: padded, with piping around the edge.
- The waistband: wide and elastic, in your color, with your logo.
- Other styles: ask us about a wider guard or a cup for MMA. We confirm them with your quote.
- Sizes: by waist. We confirm our sizes with your quote.
Strapped shin guards
Our shin guards cover the shin and the top of the foot.
- The front: a padded shin, with a padded instep below it.
- The back: two hook-and-loop straps, and a loop that goes under the foot.
- Pairs: sold in pairs, from 12 pairs per design.
- Slip-on guards: ask us. We confirm them with your quote.
- Sizes: by height. We confirm our sizes with your quote.
Who must wear them
Some rule books require these guards. Check your event's rules before you order.
- Pro boxing: state rules, such as South Dakota's, require a groin guard for men.
- Muay Thai: bouts under IFMA (the International Federation of Muaythai Associations) require IFMA-approved shin guards.
- Groin guards in Muay Thai: IFMA requires one for everyone, with a metal or hard plastic cup for men.

Training gear, not bout gear
Our gloves and headgear are made for training, sparring and bag work. They are not on USA Boxing's certified list. Sanctioned USA Boxing events use certified gloves and headgear, and the organizer supplies the gloves. Check your event's rules before you order.

What is the minimum?
12 pieces per design for groin guards, and 12 pairs per design for shin guards.
Do shin guards count in pairs?
Yes. Shin guards are sold in pairs, so the minimum is 12 pairs per design.
Do you make cups?
Our groin guard is a padded cup on a wide elastic waistband. Ask us about other cups, and we confirm them with your quote.
Which sizes do you make?
Groin guards are sized by waist, and shin guards by height. We confirm our sizes with your quote.
Can we wear them in bouts?
Check your event's rules. Muay Thai bouts under IFMA require IFMA-approved shin guards. Our guards are made for training and sparring.
How long does an order take?
First we make one sample for you to check. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 5 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Plan about 12 weeks before you need the gear.
