Sharknits makes custom MMA gloves with open fingers, from 4 to 8 oz (ounces), and Muay Thai gloves with a wider palm, for gyms, fight teams and brands. The minimum is 12 pairs per design, with weights and sizes mixed. The shell is cowhide leather, goatskin leather, or PU (synthetic, not leather). PU is polyurethane. Your logo is printed or embossed, plus woven labels. The gloves are made for training and sparring. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 5 weeks, plus shipping. We make the gear in our own factories in Pakistan, with a US office near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

MMA gloves

MMA gloves with open fingers

MMA gloves leave the fingers free, so a fighter can grab and grapple.

Open fingers: a loop for each finger, so the hand can grip.
Padded knuckles: padding over the striking area.
A wrist strap: a hook-and-loop strap closes the glove.
Weights: 4 to 8 oz, for training and sparring.

Muay Thai gloves

Muay Thai gloves have a squarer front and a wider palm than boxing gloves.

A wider palm: for catching kicks and for the clinch.
A more flexible wrist: so the hand can grab and frame.
A squarer front: a flatter striking surface.
The weights: set on your tech pack. We confirm them with your quote.

Fight gloves follow the event's rules

Each event sets its own glove rules. Check yours before you order.

Pro MMA: the state commission approves the fight gloves, and the promoter supplies them.
Muay Thai: bouts under IFMA (the International Federation of Muaythai Associations) use IFMA-approved 10 oz gloves.

We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 3 to 5 weeks, plus shipping.

What is the minimum?

12 pairs per design, with weights and sizes mixed.

What is the difference between MMA and Muay Thai gloves?

MMA gloves have open fingers, so a fighter can grapple. Muay Thai gloves are closed, with a squarer front, a wider palm and a more flexible wrist for the clinch.

Which weights do you make?

MMA gloves from 4 to 8 oz (ounces). For Muay Thai gloves, the weight is set on your tech pack, and we confirm it with your quote.

Can you add our gym's logo?

Yes. We print or emboss your logo, and we can add woven labels. You choose the colors too.

Can we fight in them?

Our gloves are made for training and sparring. Pro MMA fight gloves are approved by the state commission and supplied by the promoter. Muay Thai bouts under IFMA use IFMA-approved 10 oz gloves.

How long does an order take?

First we make one sample for you to check. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 5 weeks, plus shipping. By air, shipping takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Plan about 12 weeks before you need the gear.
