Judo gi orders, in short
Sharknits makes custom judo gis for clubs, schools and brands, in a heavy double weave, in white and blue, with the club's logo. The minimum is 12 sets per design, a set being one jacket and one pair of pants, and one design's 12 sets can mix sizes. We confirm the weight and the sizes with your quote. Our judo gis do not carry the IJF (International Judo Federation) label. They are made for class, training, team and school use. Sharknits also makes BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) gis, karate uniforms and rank belts. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. The gis are made in Pakistan, in our own factories, and our US office is near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship. Kids sizes start at 12 per design and ship FOB Karachi.

A heavy double weave
Judo gis use a heavy weave, so a judo gi is its own build.
- Our weave: a heavy double weave.
- The weight: confirmed with your quote.
- IJF rules: judo gis for IJF events weigh 650 to 750 GSM (grams per square meter) after washing.
- The fiber: more than 70% cotton, under the same rules.
White and blue gis
Events with IJF-style divisions often ask each athlete for both a white and a blue gi.
- Our colors: white and blue.
- USA Judo: its 2025 rules for sanctioned events recommend that senior categories make a blue and a white gi mandatory.

The IJF label
The IJF label is a tamper-proof label on judo gis for IJF events.
- Who may use it: only makers with a current IJF contract and a certificate from an IJF-approved lab.
- Our gis: they do not carry it.
Your club's logo and the athlete's name
Your club's logo goes on every gi.
- Your logo: embroidered, or on embroidered, woven or chenille patches.

- Belts: rank belts from 12 per color.
Kids sizes, from 12 per design
Kids sizes start at 12 per design and ship FOB Karachi. You, or the importer you work with, bring them into the US and issue the Children's Product Certificate. Our factory sends samples made from bulk materials to your lab and sews your tracking, fiber and care labels. It also gives you the factory name, address and production month for the certificate.

We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping.
Changes go into another sample round before bulk starts.

Made for class, training and school events
We make each order in the colors and cut you choose for your event's rules. No federation approves or labels our uniforms. At an event, the event's own uniform check decides. Check your sample against your event's rules before you approve bulk.
IJF (International Judo Federation) events need gis with the IJF label, which only makers under contract with the IJF may use. Our judo gis do not carry it.
