Karate uniform orders, in short

Sharknits makes custom karate uniforms for schools, dojos and demo teams, with the school's logo embroidered. They are 12 oz (ounces) cotton canvas, with ties at the chest and a drawstring waist. The minimum is 12 sets per design, a set being one jacket and one pair of pants, and one design's 12 sets can mix sizes. The uniforms are made for class, gradings, demos and school events. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks, plus shipping. The uniforms are made in Pakistan, in our own factories, and our US office is near Chicago. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship. Kids sizes start at 12 per design and ship FOB Karachi.

Sizes and shrinkage

Sizes and shrinkage

Cotton shrinks a little in the wash. Plan your sizes with that in mind.

  • Sizes: confirmed with your quote. One design's 12 sets can mix sizes.
  • Published charts: they size karate uniforms by number, from the smallest child to the largest adult.
  • Shrinkage: published guides put cotton karate uniforms at about 3 to 5%. We confirm ours with your quote.

Kids sizes, from 12 per design

Kids sizes start at 12 per design and ship FOB Karachi. You, or the importer you work with, bring them into the US and issue the Children's Product Certificate. Our factory sends samples made from bulk materials to your lab and sews your tracking, fiber and care labels. It also gives you the factory name, address and production month for the certificate.

Events

Made for class, training and school events

We make each order in the colors and cut you choose for your event's rules. No federation approves or labels our uniforms. At an event, the event's own uniform check decides. Check your sample against your event's rules before you approve bulk.

WKF (World Karate Federation) events need WKF approved white uniforms with no piping or personal embroidery. Ours are for class, gradings, demos and school events.

What is the minimum?

12 sets per design. A set is one jacket and one pair of pants, and one design's 12 sets can mix sizes.

Which weights do you make?

Our karate uniforms are 12 oz (ounces) cotton canvas. We confirm other weights with your quote.

Can you embroider our school's logo?

Yes. We embroider your logo on the chest, the sleeve or the pants, or put it on an embroidered, woven or chenille patch.

Can we wear them in tournaments?

WKF (World Karate Federation) events need WKF approved white uniforms with no piping or personal embroidery. Ours are for class, gradings, demos and school events. Check your event's rules.
