Custom sublimated jerseys for teams and brands

Sublimation dyes your design into the fabric, so colors, stripes and patterns can run across the whole jersey. We make sublimated jerseys for soccer, basketball, volleyball, hockey, fishing, running and more. We make one sample first, then your full order.

Sublimated jersey orders, in short

Sharknits makes custom sublimated jerseys for teams, clubs and brands: soccer, basketball, baseball, football, hockey, volleyball, wrestling, fishing and running. Sublimation dyes the design into polyester, so it can run edge to edge, across the seams. Soccer, basketball, baseball, football and hockey jerseys start at 25 pieces per design, and each one can carry its own name and number at no extra charge. First we make one physical sample, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks for team jerseys, plus shipping time. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

Sublimation, screen printing or heat transfer

What each method looks like

Sublimation for the design, and a transfer or a print for what it cannot do.

Screen printing vs embroidery
TIDE jersey sleeve held up close: a blue bolt printed into white knit with a fish scale texture, above blue and navy waves
Dyed inThe design becomes part of the polyester, like the waves on our TIDE jersey.
Two thumbs stretch the navy knit around a white bolt logo pressed onto the chest of the PITCH jersey
Heat transferSublimation cannot print white, so the white logo on PITCH is a transfer.
Hands pull a squeegee across a screen on a carousel press, printing a large blue bolt onto a white tee
Screen printInk on top of the fabric, for cotton or for bold, flat color.
Hands guide a printed navy jersey panel and a royal blue mesh side panel through an overlock machine
Sewn after printingThe printed panels are sewn into the jersey, with the mesh sides and the piping.

Questions

Questions buyers ask

What is a sublimated jersey?

A jersey whose design is dyed into the polyester instead of printed on top. The design is printed on transfer paper, then heat pressed into each cut panel before the jersey is sewn.

Can sublimation print white?

No. Sublimation has no white ink, so the white parts of a design come from the white fabric underneath. A white logo on a dark jersey goes on as a heat transfer, like the logos on our PITCH kit.

Can every jersey have its own name and number?

Yes. Names and numbers can be part of the print, or heat transferred, embroidered or sewn on in tackle twill. On team orders they come at no extra charge.

What fabric do sublimated jerseys use?

Polyester knit or mesh. Sublimation only works on polyester, so a cotton jersey is screen printed instead.

What is the minimum order?

25 pieces per design for baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer and hockey jerseys, with sizes mixed. Fishing jerseys start at 25 pieces per style and color. For other sports, we confirm the minimum with your quote.

How long does an order take?

First we make one sample for you to check. After you approve it, bulk takes about 3 to 4 weeks for team jerseys, or 3 to 5 weeks for fishing and race shirts. Shipping time comes on top.

How much does a sample cost?

One physical sample costs $150 to $500, depending on the design, plus shipping. You check the fit, the colors and the print before we make your full order.
