Motorcycle gear orders, in short
Sharknits makes motorcycle gear for brands, clubs, track day groups and race teams: leather jackets, race suits, gloves, club vests and chaps, motocross kits, and textile jackets and pants. The minimum is 12 pieces per design, with sizes mixed, and one rider can order one race suit, made to measure. It is all made in our factory in Sialkot, Pakistan. First we make one physical sample, and we confirm its price with your quote. After you approve it, bulk takes about 6 to 8 weeks, plus shipping. We quote FOB (free on board) Karachi or DDP (delivered duty paid) to your door. You pay in full when the order is ready to ship.

Leather and textile, by product
Tell us how the gear will be ridden. You check the materials on your sample before bulk.
- Leather: cowhide for jackets, race suits, vests and chaps, and cowhide or goatskin for gloves. Perforated panels let air through.
- Stretch panels: ribbed leather at the back, the elbows and the knees, so the gear moves with the rider.
- Textile: high-denier nylon or polyester shells, mesh for summer jackets, and liners that zip out.
- Motocross: polyester jerseys printed by sublimation, with mesh panels for air.
Riding gear rules, in short
As of October 2026. This is general information, not legal advice.
- In the US: no federal rule sets a standard for riding jackets, suits, pants or gloves. Only helmets have one. A claim about protection still needs proof, as the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires.
- In the EU and the UK: riding gear sold in the EU (European Union) needs the CE mark and a certificate in your brand's name. A notified body, a testing body the EU approves, issues it. Great Britain accepts the CE mark too.
- Your brand's name: a brand that sells gear under its own name counts as the maker, so the certificate must name that brand.
- What we do: we make the samples for testing, give you the material details and production records, and build each order to the approved sample.

We make one physical sample first and confirm its price with your quote. You can make changes during sampling. After you approve the sample, bulk takes about 6 to 8 weeks, plus shipping.
Changes go into another sample round before bulk starts.

Questions buyers ask
What is your minimum for motorcycle gear?
12 pieces per design. You can mix sizes within that number. For one rider, we make one race suit, made to measure.
Can I mix sizes?
Yes. Sizes can be mixed within the 12 pieces of each design.
How much does a sample cost?
We confirm the sample price with your quote, because it depends on the design and the materials. Bulk starts only after you approve the sample.
How long does bulk take?
About 6 to 8 weeks after you approve the sample, plus shipping. Plan more time if you need several sample rounds.
Do you make gear under my brand?
Yes. Your designs, colors, logos, labels and packaging. The gear carries your brand, not ours.
Is your gear CE certified?
For the EU and the UK, the certificate must be in your brand's name. A brand that sells gear under its own name counts as the maker. We make the samples for testing and give your notified body the material details and production records. Our guide explains the steps.
Where is it made?
In our factory at Pucci Kotli, Daska Road, Sialkot, Pakistan. Our U.S. corporate office is near Chicago.
What US duty applies to motorcycle gear from Pakistan?
As of October 2026, it is the normal duty for the product's tariff line, plus a 10% duty on goods from Pakistan under Section 301. The 10% has applied since July 24, 2026. For example, leather jackets under line 4203.10.40 pay 6% plus the 10%. Your customs broker confirms the line for each product.
