What does cut and sew mean?
It means we make the garment from raw fabric. We cut each panel from your pattern and sew the panels together. A print shop starts from a blank made by someone else. With cut and sew, you choose the fabric, the fit and every detail.
Do you make the patterns?
Yes. Our pattern makers make your pattern by hand or on the computer, with clear sewing notes. Then we grade it to your sizes, from XS to 4XL.
Do you source the fabric?
Yes. We source fabric and trims from mills and suppliers we trust, to fit your design and your budget. Ask for swatches, and feel the fabric before you choose.
What can you cut and sew?
Streetwear, jackets, leather outerwear and team uniforms: from tees and hoodies to varsity jackets and jerseys. In all, we make over 120 products in ten families.
Is cut and sew the same as private label?
No. Cut and sew is how the garment is made: from raw fabric, to your pattern. Private label is whose name goes on it: yours. Most of our orders are both.
Why does cut and sew take longer than printing on blanks?
Because we make the garment itself. The pattern, the fabric and the sample come first. Orders can take up to 3 months when there are several sample rounds, so plan about 4 months ahead of your launch.
