We make one physical sample for $150 to $500, depending on the design. You can make changes during sampling. Bulk starts only after you approve the sample.

What is puff print?

A screen print with an ink that rises when it is heated, so the graphic stands up off the fabric. It looks different from 3D puff embroidery, which is stitched over foam.

What is the minimum order for puff print hoodies?

Usually 25 pieces per style and color. You can mix sizes within that number. Tell us what you are making and we will confirm.

How do I keep a puff print raised?

Wash the hoodie inside out in cold water, and dry it on low heat or hang it to dry. Do not iron over the print.

Can you put puff print on the back of a hoodie?

Yes. Puff works on the chest, the back and the sleeves. Very thin lines can lose their shape as the ink rises, so we may suggest bolder lines. You see the result on your sample.

Puff print or 3D puff embroidery: which should I choose?

Puff print is ink, so it stays soft and suits bigger graphics. 3D puff embroidery is thread over foam, so it is firm and suits bold letters and small logos. One hoodie can have both.

Can a puff print have more than one color?

Yes. Each color is printed through its own screen, like any screen print. Puff can also sit next to flat ink in the same design.

How heavy can the hoodie be?

We make the weight you ask for. The Irregular hoodie on this page, a client order, is 100% cotton French terry at 500 GSM, a heavyweight fabric.

Can I see it before the full order?

Yes. We make one physical sample first, for $150 to $500 depending on the design, plus shipping. You see and feel the puff before we make the full order.
